Intern Life Science Consultancy
(Orientierungspraktikum - 3 months in Heidelberg Headquarters)
What kind of work will you be doing?
As one of our team members, you will work on multidisciplinary assignments, across a diverse range of technologies and products of the Life Science industries. Working hands-on, you’ll deliver high-quality, focused assessments. You will conduct literature research, analyze figures and create charts, write and present reports.
You will get experience across a vast range of clients and practice areas, including customer management, business planning, valuation, finance, strategy, operations, and sales. You will help us to translate science to business.
What are we looking for?
You are a MSc or a PhD student in Life Science with strong ambitions to apply your analytical thinking to new technologies and products. You will need to act on your own initiative and demonstrate the potential to become an expert in new areas, which are key to customers and us as a consultant team.
What training and development will you get?
We will give you the experience, coaching and exposure you need to succeed in given tasks. You will receive any required assistance, advice and guidance by a senior coach in the day-to-day work.
You will learn:
- ￭ To develop and adopt essential consulting skills
- ￭ To simplify and translate science into the world of finance, financial modeling and valuation.
- ￭ To structure and deliver a consultant project and key tasks, incl. presenting new insights, results and solutions.
You will meet and communicate with customers at all levels using the latest IT tools and professional communication skills. Thereby, you will gain deep, unprecedented insights into companies and industries and some of their biggest challenges.
If you complete the internship successfully, you may be offered a permanent role with us.
