Dr. Alrik Koppenhöfer, Managing Director & Partner

Koppenhöfer Business Consulting offers consulting services to executives and investors in the biotech industry since 2004. He is the founder of the Life Science Consulting Network. 

He has been working in the Life Science industry and academia for over 15 years. He was the VP Business Development at Axaron Bioscience AG. In this role he built and led a sales and marketing team, launched two platform solutions, resolved IP issues and managed a company spin-off. In addition, he presented Axaron's CNS product portfolio to executives of Big Pharma world-wide.

At LION bioscience AG he held key positions in business development, product management, and project management. He was solely responsible for global in-licensing and product management of third party software applications and databases. Prior to this, he worked in Oxford Science Park as a Healthcare Consultant for several companies and as a Scientific Project Manager for the Oxford Wellcome Trust.

As a Marie-Curie-Fellow Alrik Koppenhöfer earned his PhD in biochemistry at the University of Oxford and holds a degree in chemistry from Freiburg University, Germany. His working languages are German and English.
