Dr. Holger Bengs
Dr. Holger Bengs – Biotech Consulting, founded in 2002 in
Frankfurt / Main, Germany, is specialized in consulting medium-sized
companies and non-profit organisations within the field of biotechnology,
chemistry, nanotechnology and pharmacy. The company is focused
on Marketing Intelligence and has broad experience in public relations,
marketing, event management and sponsoring.
Most of its ten employees
have an academic education in bio-chemistry, biology, chemistry
or molecular genetics. Holger Bengs studied chemistry in Hannover
and graduated in Mainz. At the Virtual University Hagen, he did
a second degree in business administration with the focus on marketing.
Holger gathered his first professional experiences in the R&D
department of Hoechst and Aventis focusing on biologically degradable
polymers for drug delivery systems and functional food applications.
Later, he has been working for four years as project manager biocatalysis.
During this time his team successfully has registered 25 patents.
Then, as founder and Managing Director of Biotech Media GmbH,
a subsidiary of Going Public Media AG, Holger was responsible for
the coverage of the biotech industry in the stock market publications “GoingPublic” and “Venture
Capital Magazin”. Since then the “GoingPublic” special
edition on biotechnology is published every year in September.
Holger Bengs is the author of the books “Investieren in Biotechnologie – simplified” (2008)
and “Mit Biotechnologie zum Börsenerfolg” (2000). |
